Rosemarie de la Cruz Bernabe is Professor of Research Ethics and Research Integrity at the Centre for Medical Ethics, University of Oslo and Adjunct Professor of Medical Research Ethics at the University of South-Eastern Norway. She has nearly three decades of academic experience across Europe and Southeast Asia and holds a PhD in Medical Research Ethics from Utrecht University and an MA in Applied Ethics from both Utrecht University and Linköping University. Her research interests lie at the intersection of ethics and regulatory governance, with applications in clinical trials, research in low-income settings, immersive technologies, and issues related to research integrity and misconduct in both traditional and Open Science environments. She has coordinated several large-scale EU-funded and nationally funded projects, including TRUSTparency, BEYOND, ROSiE, XR4Human, Pandemic Ethics, ETHIMED, AccessAfrica, and AccessAfrica2. Prof. Bernabe serves as an expert for the European Commission, the EDCTP3 programme, and various other ethics and stakeholder boards. -

Panagiotis Kavouras is a researcher at the Institute of Health and Society, Centre for Medical Ethics, Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo and at the Association of Hellenic Academic Libraries, at the Center for Libraries and Informatics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has worked as a researcher at the School of Chemical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens and at the Physics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has also worked, as a researcher, at the Hellenic Institute of Metrology, in the Volume and Flow of Liquids laboratories. He has taught Physics at the former Technological and Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (now part of the International University of Greece). Panagiotis Kavouras studied Physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and received his MSc and PhD from the same university. For almost two decades, his research interests focused on research on solid industrial waste management and on the characterization of mechanical and physical properties at the micro- and nano-scale. Since 2017, his research interests were re-orientated on the fields of Research Integrity and responsible Open Science. He has been involved in many EU-funded projects, related to Research Integrity and Research Ethics, like ENERI, VIRT2UE, PRO-RES, SOPs4RI, HYBRIDA, ROSiE, SUPER MoRRI, POIESIS, iRECS, XR4HUMAN, and RE4GREEN. He is member of the program committee of the ENRIO Congresses on Research Integrity Practice and of the editorial board of the journal Research Integrity Practice in Europe. He was member of the local organizing committee of the 8th World Conference on Research Integrity. In addition to his academic track record, he has written extensively in the Greek language, mainly on issues related to Research Integrity, in a magazine for science, technology and society. -

Pooja is a researcher at the Centre for Medical Ethics, University of Oslo with a background in Global health, and Sociology. She holds a master’s degree in International Community Health from the University of Oslo. Her research interests include women’s health, mental health, marginalized communities, research ethics and integrity, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and gender disparities. She is engaged in the Work Package 1 (WP1) of the TRUSTparency project. -
Daniele Fanelli

Daniele Fanelli is founding Director of the startup Science of Science (SoS), and he also an Assistant Professor in Social Research Methods at Heriot-Watt University, visiting Fellow at the Department of Methodology, London School of Economics. With a background in Evolutionary Biology, Computer Science, and Scientific Communication, he devoted over 15 years to studying the nature of scientific knowledge and improving its quality. He has published influential work on the prevalence and causes of scientific misconduct and bias, understanding the diversity of knowledge produced across disciplines, and he is now developing a methodology to quantify knowledge using information theory. He has participated in numerous international projects and initiative about research integrity, including his current membership in the Luxembourgh Agency for Research Integrity and the Ethics and Bioethics Committee of Italy’s National Research Council. Within TRUSTparency, Daniele will probe the scientific consensus on reproducibility interventions using an innovative methodology implemented via the comCensus.org platform. -
Kalle Videnoja

Kalle Videnoja is an Expert at the Finnish National Board on Research Integrity TENK. Before his position at TENK, Videnoja lectured in philosophy at Aalto University and worked as a science secretary for the Council of Finnish Academies. He has worked in various non-governmental organisations. In his role at TENK, Videnoja contributes to international collaborations and projects aimed at promoting research integrity. He has been actively involved with the European Network of Research Integrity Offices (ENRIO) and serves as a board member for the 2025–2028 term. -
Petra Falin

Petra Falin is a senior adviser at the Finnish National Board on Research Integrity TENK. In this role, she monitors and coordinates the work of the ethics committees in human and social sciences at the national level. She also participates in the other tasks of TENK in promoting and monitoring research integrity. Petra has a background and doctoral degree in design research. Before joining TENK's secretariat, Petra worked as a senior specialist at the University of Lapland with various issues related to research ethics, research integrity, research evaluation, external funding and research administration. -
Signe Mežinska

Signe Mežinska is Associate Professor at the University of Latvia, Faculty of Medicine and Life Sciences. She holds PhD in Sociology and MSc in Bioethics, and has been teaching medical ethics, bioethics, and research ethics for more than 25 years. Her scientific interests include biomedical research ethics, ethics of biobanking and biotechnologies, reproductive ethics and rational use of medicines. Signe has been serving as vice-chair of UNESCO International Bioethics Committee, as well as an ethics expert for WHO, Council of Europe, European Commission and several national bodies in Latvia. In TRUSTparency, Signe is leading the development of training materials for promoting reproducibility for different types of stakeholders, as well as running the pilot tests at the University of Latvia as one of the pilot institutions. -
Eliza Lasmane

A social anthropologist with MA in Conflict Studies and Human Rights. Her research interests cover the fields of collective memory, legitimisation of violence and social integration. She is also currently involved in the EU-funded project BEYOND that concerns matters of research ethics and research integrity. At TRUSTparency, Eliza is involved in the activities of WP3 and WP4, supporting the preparation of training materials for promoting reproducibility for different types of stakeholders, as well as creating an online guide to training development. -

Ivars Neiders, a Lead Researcher at the Institute of Preventive and Clinical Medicine, University of Latvia, holds a PhD in philosophy. With over twenty years of experience teaching biomedical and research ethics, his research focuses on experimental bioethics, human enhancement ethics, psychiatry ethics, and concepts of death and suicide. In TRUSTparency, he will develop training materials to promote reproducibility for various stakeholders and conduct pilot tests at the University of Latvia. -
Mads P. Sørensen

Mads P. Sørensen’s current research focuses on Social Theory and Research on Research, including Research Integrity, Research Ethics, and Research Policy. His research seeks to contribute to a better understanding of the research ecosystem, and he continues to engage in international collaborative projects that address pressing integrity and ethical challenges in academia. Mads’ research leadership experience includes successful coordination and leadership roles in Horizon Europe and Horizon 2020 projects, such as SOPs4RI and HYBRIDA, focusing on enhancing research integrity and embedding ethical considerations into the research process. Mads is specialized in qualitative methods, including individual and focus group interviews and expert workshops. He has taught a wide range of subjects, including social theory and the evolution of political and economic thought. His previous research includes studies on political consumerism, the democratic public sphere, and the history of political and economic ideas. -

Anna Vigsø Pedersen is a research assistent at the Danish Centre for Studies in Research and Research Policy (CFA) at Aarhus University. She holds a master's degree in international relations from Aalborg University with a specialisation in gender studies. Her research interests include higher education, the impact of research in arts and humanities, and gender equality, with particular expertise in the design and implementation of gender equality plans. She is engaged in the Work Package 1 (WP1) of the TRUSTparency project. -

Efi Emmanouilidou is a librarian at the Library & Information Centre of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a degree in Political Science. She has participated in the implementation of the new services introduced by the university library with a focus on the launch of the online reference desk & interlibrary loan service. From 2009 she has been delivering teaching on research literacy topics and collaborated with university faculty to enhance students’ skills through joint teaching efforts supported with tailored practice activities and a continuously evolving course on the LMS of the university. Additionally, she was involved in the establishment of the library’s publishing program and has been developing close cooperation with editors and representatives of affiliated associations and centers for the advancement of their journal and journal publishing culture. She actively participates in administration or consortium led publishing initiatives and is a member of the AUTH publications committee. Having acquired expertise in facilitating diverse needs among the research cycle, together with her interest in the future prospect of libraries’ publishing programs, informs her current focus on the improvement of the research being produced and published in the public university. -

Dr. Jessie Barrot has been cited as one of World’s Top 2% Researchers in 2023 and 2024 by Stanford University-Elsevier. As a distinguished scholar, he has received various local and international grants and recognitions, authored over 80 scholarly papers and 22 textbooks, and served as a reviewer, editorial board, and editor of over 100 academic journals, scholarly books, and conferences. He has also been invited as a consultant for major international and national projects and has delivered lectures in over 220 trainings, seminars, and conferences. In his two decades in the academe, he has held key administrative and leadership positions. His expertise includes second language writing, language pedagogy, computer assisted learning, curriculum, instructional materials development, and educational research. -

Pavlo Zhezhnych is a professor at the Department of Social Communication and Information Activities. He is an Open Science advocate at the institutional and national levels, holding a ScD degree in computer science. He co-founded the Institute for Open Science and Innovation (NGO). Prof. Zhezhnych participated in the development of Ukraine’s National Plan for Open Science and headed the international consortium OPTIMA, stimulating its development. He is a member of the Ukrainian Reproducibility Network (UARN). -

Oleksandr Berezko is a researcher and Open Science advocate holidng a PhD degree in computer science. He co-founded the Institute for Open Science and Innovation (NGO) and is a former President (2022-23) and current Advisory Board Member of Eurodoc. Dr. Berezko coordinated Ukraine’s National Plan for Open Science development and now heads Open4UA, an international consortium driving its implementation. He also co-chairs the CoARA Chapter Ukraine and coordinates the Ukrainian Reproducibility Network (UARN). -

Eleni Spyrakou is a senior researcher at the School of Chemical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. She has studied Philosophy (BA Hons, University of Patras), and she holds an MPhil in Philosophy focusing on Ethics and Political philosophy (King’s College London, UK) and a PhD (Hons) in Political Philosophy (University of Ioannina, Greece). Her main research interests include applied ethics (bioethics, environmental ethics, business ethics, research ethics and integrity), political philosophy, the ethics-politics relation and its epistemological problems, the methodology of social sciences. During the last 6 years her research has been focused on research ethics and research integrity with a particular focus on emerging technologies, through her participation in a number of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe EU-funded projects. She was a member of the local organising committee of the 8th World Conference on Research Integrity (Athens, 2-5 June 2024). -

She has translated into Greek, written in English papers in a collective volume on Critical Pedagogy.
